Full job description
Maintain the integrity of Ampere's Quality Management System as the company expands into markets requiring stringent quality standards.
- Coordinate industry certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 26262)
- Develop quality processes across the product lifecycle
- Manage internal audit programs and quality documentation systems
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations and Program Management to ensure products meet reliability and quality benchmarks in semiconductor design
Hybrid role based in Portland, OR.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Professional quality certifications (ASQ CQT/CQE, CFSE, CFSP)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
- 5+ years in quality, process, or product engineering within semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech industries
- Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 26262 standards
- Knowledge of quality methodologies: 8D, FMEA, RCA
- Experience with QMS for complex SoCs/CPUs
- Familiarity with NPI lifecycle and product qualification
- Understanding of reliability testing concepts (e.g., HTOL)
- Experience with QMS/PLM systems and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
