Full job description

Block is hiring a Senior ML/AI Modeler for its Risk Automation ML team, which uses agentic and generative AI to automate risk and compliance investigations: copilot tools that help analysts work faster and autopilot systems that remove manual review entirely. The engineer owns end-to-end systems from API integrations and prompt tuning to monitoring, building transformer-based models on payment, graph, and text data.

Qualifications

8+ years of ML modeling experience, full-stack ML preferred
Master's or advanced degree in CS, data science, applied math, statistics, or related field
End-to-end experience deploying ML/AI systems to production (batch and real-time)
