Full job description
Develop software for the manufacturing test stations that validate Agility's Digit humanoid robots.
What you will do:
- Develop automated test sequences for electro-mechanical sub-assemblies
- Create processes to track, analyze, and report test results
- Identify and log software issues and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Reproduce and diagnose test failures with manufacturing and engineering teams
- Track regression trends and validate critical fixes before release
- Assist in log analysis and data visualization
- Establish best practices for continuous validation and quality assurance
- Generate detailed test reports with logs, screenshots, and video recordings
Qualifications
- Experience with robot simulation environments (MuJoCo, Gazebo, Isaac Sim)
- Background in startup or fast-paced development environments
- Understanding of embedded software, perception, controls, and locomotion
Requirements
- MS in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field with 5+ years industry experience (or BS with 8+ years)
- Strong software development, validation, and debugging experience
- Experience developing software for manufacturing test processes
- Hands-on troubleshooting of complex robotic systems
- Familiarity with debugging tools and log analysis
- Proficiency in Python scripting for testing and automation
- Strong analytical mindset and detail-oriented problem solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
