Facilities Technician 4 - Ultra Pure Water (UPW) & Industrial Waste Water (IWW)

As a Facilities Technician 4 - UPW & IWW, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing ultra-pure water (UPW), wastewater treatment, and water reuse systems that support semiconductor manufacturing operations.

In this advanced technician role, you will own the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex utility systems, ensuring environmental compliance, system reliability, and continuous improvement of water usage and recycling processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain:

• 18 M-cm RO/DI (UPW) systems

• Industrial wastewater treatment systems, including ACID Waste Neutralization (AWN) and HF treatment

• Water recycling and reclaim systems (DI reclaim, IRW - Industrial Reclaim Water)

• Perform troubleshooting and repairs across:

• RO/DI systems, reclaim systems, and wastewater treatment processes

• Pumps, motors, valves, and fluid distribution systems

• Control systems, sensors, and instrumentation

• Plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance (PM) activities on:

• Chillers, CDA systems, boilers, air handlers

• Scrubbers and closed-loop cooling systems

• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve system reliability

• Operate lab and analytical equipment to perform:

• DI water quality testing

• Wastewater sampling and analysis

• Maintain detailed logs and generate reports on system performance
