Full job description

Boeing Commercial Airplanes seeks a Level 3 civil/structural engineer for facilities maintenance in Portland (req JR2026517552).

  • Provide structural support for manufacturing operations: new construction, building modifications, crane support structures and machine foundations
  • Develop designs, cost estimates and maintenance support; review compliance with building codes
  • Manage engineering projects from scope through execution, coordinating multidisciplinary teams
  • Manage contractor performance, ensure regulatory compliance and maintain project documentation

First shift; relocation available.

Qualifications

  • Machine foundation design and construction experience
  • Bridge crane and crane infrastructure knowledge
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Structural engineering support background

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years AutoCAD or similar CAD experience
  • 3+ years reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • 3+ years Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
