Full job description

Block is hiring a Staff Data Scientist for Square's Pricing team to own the modeling and experiments behind global pricing: price elasticity and willingness-to-pay models, pricing experiments, and pricing intelligence for Square's agentic deal tooling (DealBot), plus monitoring AI pricing tools for accuracy, drift, and bias and building pricing analytics for Finance, Risk, and Product partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in statistics, data science, economics, or STEM with 7+ years (or graduate degree with 5+)
Fluency in causal inference and experimentation, including price elasticity modeling
Advanced SQL plus Tableau/Looker and Python or R
