Full job description
12-month paid trainee program within AWS Infrastructure Services focused on data center operations — learn on the job with a structured training curriculum. Open to Oregon sites including Boardman, Hermiston, Umatilla, and Portland.
What you will do:
- Server rack installations and hardware break-fix on various components
- Troubleshoot network issues and respond to incidents affecting service availability
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in on-call duties and scheduled maintenance
- Contribute to documentation and process improvements
- Complete a 12-month training curriculum including safety certifications
Qualifications
- Computer hardware and operating systems knowledge
- Microsoft Office experience
- Ticketing system and work priority management experience
- STEM or vocational course education
Requirements
- High school or equivalent diploma
- 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to participate in shift rotations supporting 24/7 operations
