UX/UI Product Designer

Junior UX/UI Product Designer role at Daimler Truck North America's Design Center.

• Design in-vehicle user interfaces for production vehicles and next-generation HMI concepts across Freightliner, Western Star, and subsidiary brands
• Create pixel-perfect specs, assets, and reusable design system components with strong visual fundamentals
• Build high-fidelity prototypes demonstrating visual, motion, and interaction intent for professional drivers
• Translate product requirements and user needs into cohesive UX/UI solutions grounded in research and constraints
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and product teams globally; own workstreams from concept to handoff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in UX, Interaction Design, Product Design, or related field with internship or 1-2 years experience
• Academic or hands-on experience in automotive UX/UI, HMI, or in-vehicle interaction design
• Portfolio demonstrating visual design, interaction design, and problem-solving with clear ownership
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling; prototyping and systems thinking skills

Full-time, onsite.
