Full job description

Hands-on production role building high-powered fiber lasers and components for industrial and aerospace applications at nLIGHT's Hillsboro cleanroom. On-the-job training provided - no prior experience required. Monday-Friday swing shift, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM.

Perform electromechanical assembly operations using manual and electronic tools
Work in cleanroom garments using microscopes and handling solvents
Enter production data into computer systems
Follow documented work instructions and safety standards
Identify and report irregularities; conduct equipment checks and basic troubleshooting

Pay: Manufacturing Specialist I $19.20/hr, II $20.35/hr, III $21.57/hr, plus 10-15% swing shift differential.

Qualifications

Electronic assembly experience
Soldering or wire bonding experience

Requirements

Ability to work the assigned swing shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM)
Dependable and reliable
Able to sit/stand/walk 8 hours and lift up to 35 pounds
Basic computer skills and English proficiency (written/verbal)
Problem-solving abilities and basic math skills
Strong attention to detail
