AWS Professional Services (ProServe) is seeking a Senior Delivery Consultant to design and implement cloud solutions for enterprise customers. Portland, OR is one of several eligible office locations.

What you will do:

Architect complex, scalable AWS infrastructure tailored to client needs and business objectives
Serve as a trusted advisor on migration strategies, industry trends, and emerging technologies
Lead implementations, ensure best-practice adherence, optimize performance, and manage project risks
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and assess cloud readiness
Mentor team members and create reusable knowledge artifacts
Work with a global team executing enterprise cloud initiatives alongside the AWS Partner Network

Qualifications

Degree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certification
Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments
Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR
AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional)
Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python)
Knowledge of Amazon Connect or Amazon Lex capabilities, benefits, and required deployment skills
Experience incorporating generative AI into contact centers (voice or chat bots, agent assist or next best action)

Requirements

5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
3+ years hands-on coding experience with REST APIs and web services, including integration of agentic or generative AI into customer facing applications
Cloud experience (AWS preferred) with proficiency across Compute, Database, Integration, Identity, Networking, and automated packaging/deployment
3+ years designing and implementing NLP/NLU (voice or chat) solutions using a conversational AI framework (e.g., NLX, Rasa, Dialogflow, Lex, or Azure Bot Service)
