Full job description
Maintain mission-critical AWS data center infrastructure across Amazon's eastern Oregon data center campuses (Boardman, Hermiston, Umatilla).
What you'll do:
- Monitor facility operations daily, including diesel generators, electrical distribution systems, and cooling equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on critical infrastructure
- Support and escort contractors performing facility work
- Work rotating 12-hour shifts with potential travel between nearby sites
Hourly role with pay from $37.00 to $65.91 depending on site and experience, plus Amazon benefits.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a data center or mission critical facility
- Associate or higher education in a related field
- Experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings
Requirements
- 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- 2+ years of electrical and mechanical experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and/or weekends
