Sr. Principal I/O SoC Architect

Architectural leader for next-generation server-class I/O subsystems at Ampere, with focus on high-speed Ethernet solutions. Strategically own and lead the I/O subsystem architecture while serving as technical authority for protocol integration. Hybrid role in Portland, OR.

What you'll do:

• Architect overall I/O subsystem strategy for data movement and external interfaces
• Direct multi-gigabit Ethernet IP architecture with Time-Sensitive Networking emphasis
• Manage USB ecosystem solutions spanning USB 3.x and USB4
• Evaluate and select third-party IP with data-driven analysis
• Collaborate across SoC, verification, physical design, and software disciplines
• Maintain architecture specifications and mentor junior engineers

Pay range: $225,500 - $338,500.
